The General Terms and Conditions shall apply to your use of the HSBCnet E-Channel except that:

References to the ‘Site’
References to the ‘Site’ shall be read as a reference only to the HSBCnet E-Channel.
Contracting HSBC Group Member
The General Terms and Conditions shall be amended such that the member of the HSBC Group which enters into the General Terms and Conditions with you shall be deemed to be the following and references to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ shall be read accordingly:
(a) If the company/organisation that you represent has entered into an agreement with a member of the HSBC Group for that member to provide the HSBCnet E-Channel to your company/organisation, then that member of the HSBC Group; or
(b) If the company/organisation that you represent has not entered into an agreement referred to in (a) above, then that member of the HSBC Group that provides the HSBCnet E-Channel to you.
Governing Law
The Governing Law set out in the General Terms and Conditions shall be amended so that all references to ‘England and Wales’ shall be read as references to the country of the registered office for the member of the HSBC Group identified in the above paragraph ‘Contracting HSBC Group Member’.

2. The following additional provisions shall be incorporated into the General Terms and Conditions:

Notice to users of HSBCnet effecting transactions on U.S. accounts only
The HSBCnet E-Channel is not meant for personal use with regard to any accounts in the U.S. that you may request to be uploaded onto, and access via an HSBCnet Profile. By accepting these HSBCnet E-Channel Terms and Conditions, you agree that your access to and use of this HSBCnet E-Channel to effect transactions with regard to any such accounts in the U.S. is solely for business or commercial purposes and not for any personal, consumer, family or household purposes.
Customer Alerting Service
You may be offered the Alerting Service. If you use this service, the following terms and conditions will apply in relation to each alert (‘Alert’) that you receive:
